I think I have all of my equipment packed. Just made our last run to Costco for a few things, still have to do a Trader Joe’s and Target trip. I’m starting to get a little excited, still figuring out our final transportation to Port-au-Prince and a few small details but overall I think we’re almost ready to go. We were going to post a picture of our equipment piled up but it wasn’t that impressive. We’re taking a lot of stuff but still traveling light. We’ll be shooting on a Panasonic HPX-170 and a Canon 7d, running sound into the HPX-170 with a Sennheiser G2 wireless kit, a Sennheiser ME66, and a Sanken CS-1. We’ll be trying to use a Zoom H2 for ambient stereo sound, it’ll be interesting to see how that works. I love the CS-1, the ME66 not so much. Just under 36 hours before our first flight takes off, hope the weather in ATL isn’t too bad on Sunday.
